Tape or glue stick
1 piece of white paper
1 piece of construction paper
Markers, crayons, or colored pencils
Scissors
A gift for your teacher (Gift card, candy bar, granola bar, or envelope with a special note!)
Optional: Stickers
Guiding Questions:
What new things has your teacher helped you learn this year?
What do you love most about your teacher? Why?
Directions
Step 1
Draw a picture of your teacher’s face on your white paper. Add a fun superhero mask around their eyes! Then, cut out this drawing.
Step 2
Lay your colorful construction paper out horizontally. Grab the top left corner of the paper. Fold it down towards the middle of the paper stopping when the edge makes a diagonal.
Repeat this with the right side of the paper. This will be your superhero cape!
Step 3
Decorate your superhero cape with any designs (or stickers!) that you think are fun.
Step 4
Tape the flap of your cape shut. Then tape your superhero face to the top opening of the superhero cape.
Step 5
Tape your treat or note to your teacher inside your superhero cape!
Step 6
Give your gift to your teacher to thank them for being a learning superhero each day to you!
