Fun Animal Friday: Friendly Opossum Craft
Create your own friendly opossum!
Activity best for children age 2 and up
Create your own friendly opossum that looks like the opossum who visited the Museum for Fun Animal Friday!
Materials you’ll need:
Half a silver paper plate
Pink paper feet
Pink pipe cleaner for tails
White paper head
Pom poms for a nose
Googly eyes
Glue sticks
Tape
Crayons
Directions
STEP 1
Pick a paper plate for the body of your opossum.
STEP 2
Get a head, a front leg, and a back leg plus a pink tail.
STEP 3
Glue the legs on. The skinner leg goes in the front and the bigger leg goes in the back. You will need to use tape to get the tail to stick to the paper plate.
STEP 4
Pick a white head. You can glue on a pom pom for the nose and a googly eye, or you can draw them with a crayon. Stick the head on to the front of your Opossum. Have fun with your new animal friend!
