Fun Animal Friday Tortoise Craft
Create a tortoise with "zoo"per powers!
Activity best for children age 3 and up
Today we met some special animals with Zovargo as part of our Fun Animal Friday. A guinea pig and tortoise may look very different, but they each have super powers that help them survive in their environment. We call these adaptations! An adaptation is part of an animal’s body, or something the body can do, to help the animal survive in its environment. We learned that Puck the tortoise has a hard shell that he moves around with to protect himself. Using materials you might have around your house, can you create your own tortoise with some adaptations!
