Daily STREAM Activity: Space Story
Write your own space adventure story!
Activity best for children age 3 and up
Get your rocket ship ready because we are headed to outer space to learn all about the moon! Throughout the month of January we will be exploring the moon through hands-on STREAM activities you can try at home.
The moon is the only other place in space humans have visited. On July 20, 1969, NASA astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first people to stand on the surface of the moon. Several others have traveled there since, and NASA plans to go back to make even more discoveries. Just like you, scientists and engineers use their creativity and imagination to tell stories about the future. In this activity, we will be using blocks and other toys to tell a creative story about traveling to the moon.
