Fun Animal Friday Rabbit Craft

Create a rabbit inspired by January's Fun Animal Friday guest!

Activity best for children age 3 and up

Today we enjoyed a fun animal presentation with Zovargo! We met Petrie the lizard with scales and a long tail, and we met Finn the rabbit with soft fur and tall ears. These animals are very different, but they both make great pets! For this craft we will be creating a rabbit using our handprint.

Materials you’ll need:

Piece of paper

Paint

Paint brush

Your hand

Markers

Directions

STEP 1
Use a paint brush to cover the bottom of your hand with paint.

STEP 2
Create the shape of a rabbit’s head with your hand by creating a V between your middle finger and ring finger.

STEP 3
Place your hand in this shape down on your paper and gently press down with your other hand. Slowly lift your hand to see the shape.

STEP 4
Let the paint dry and add details with more paint or some markers.
