KPBS Kids Curious George Craft
Create a tree for Curious George to swing from!
Activity best for children age 2 and up
What are some things you do to help keep your environment safe and clean? Maybe you recycle or ride your bike instead or driving in a car. For this craft you will be “planting” your very own tree just like Curious George.

Materials you’ll need:
Colored paper
Something to draw with
Glue
Scissors
Directions
STEP 1
Trace your hand on a piece of paper and color it in. This will be the trunk of your tree. If you don’t want to color your hand, you can also trace it on brown paper and cut it out.
STEP 2
Carefully cut out your leaves from some colored paper, they can be any size and shape you’d like. Ask an adult if you need help using your scissors.
STEP 3
Glue your leaves onto your tree trunk.
STEP 4
Add some final details to your art with your drawing tools like grass, flowers, a sun, or anything else you might find in your environment.
