STREAM Activity: Sensory Planet Art

Shoot for the stars with this planetary art!

Activity best for children ages 3 and up

In today’s activity we will be making our very own solar system using different colors and shapes. This sensory space art activity allows kids to express their creativity through shapes and colors as they explore different textures to represent unique planets, moons, and stars.

Step 5

To give the sun texture, we will be using our hands to paint our sun. Smear the two colors around to add a swirl pattern to your white paper circle.

Note: If you do not want to get your hands dirty, you can put your hand inside a plastic bag or plastic gloves to paint on your white circle.
